On April 11, 2025 in Almaty, the Minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin took part in the 8th meeting of foreign ministers in the format “Central Asia – Russia”.

Within the framework of the event, the foreign ministers discussed the current state and prospects of the six-party cooperation, paying special attention to the implementation of agreements reached following the first Summit of the heads of state of the format “Central Asia – Russia”, held in October 2022.

At the meeting, Sirojiddin Muhriddin noted that Tajikistan attaches great importance to strengthening interaction within the framework of the “Central Asia-Russia” format, considering it as a promising platform for promoting mutually beneficial cooperation.

In his speech, he also outlined Tajikistan’s approach to the issue of approving the Joint Action Plan to implement the decisions of the leaders of the format countries.
