On September 22, 2024, a solemn event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence was held at the Tajikistan Embassy in Tehran with the participation of compatriots living in Iran.

Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran N. Zohidi in his congratulatory speech, called independence the greatest achievement of the Tajik nation and emphasized the invaluable contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon in strengthening the foundations of independence and national statehood.

An exhibition of books of the Leader of the Nation, samples of folk handicrafts and Tajik cuisine were presented to the participants of the event.
